T Handle and Rod 4 Waste Tank

The pull rod for the grey tank broke off at the threads.
Does anyone out there know where I can get a rod for the waste tanks?

Get a 1/4 inch threaded rod and barrel nuts. Since I replaced mine, no problems.

It sounds like you're describing that the rod broke off at the threads. You'll need to remove what's left in the valve to attach a new rod and that will require taking some things apart for the repair.

If there is nothing left in the valve maybe the handle just unscrewed its way off (it's been known to happen) and you should be able to thread the handle back on (unless you threw it away). If the handle just fell off or keeps falling off and there is nothing left behind it's possible that the mounting in the valve is cracked and won't hold the handle.

I strongly suggest you check what caused this to occur since you might need to get a new valve, too. I hope it's easy to get to the valve. Please keep us posted.

Has anyone had to replace the valve and if so, how did you go about the repair. Do you access underneath the trailer or take apart something above? Sorry didn't want to hijack thread but would like to know how to repair.
