Hi mazboy, Here is your Avatar invite please follow the Directions. You cannot do it your self you should have got one of these when you joined. Will be waiting to hear from you. Happy New Year.

Dear Valued MOC Member,

MOC would like to extend an invitation to you so you may have an AVATAR in your profile which will also be displayed under your User Name in your posts. An Avatar is a small picture under the User Name on the MOC forum in posts and will also show up in your profile. This is being done by invitation only.

The process of creating each AVATAR is labor intensive so we need to control the flow. Please do not share this email with others. All members will eventually receive an invitation, but in an order that we have decided is the most fair. In advance we would like to thank you on for your cooperation and patience regarding this matter.

If you desire an AVATAR please email a copy of that photograph or a URL link to your desired photograph to this address mocavatars@montanaowners.com

Please include your MOC User Name in the Subject Line of your e-mail, as having your User Name is necessary for the process to work. If you know your MOC Number it will be appreciated if you could include that as well in the body of the e-mail.

Only one photograph per User Name at this time will be accepted. The photograph does not need to be reduced in size as the AVATAR software will do that automatically. Your photograph will display much better on the forum if it is square as opposed to rectangular. A rectangular photograph will be compressed in one direction or the other.

Graphics will NOT be accepted, we also are unable to accept animated photos at this time. Naturally we know you will only send in a tasteful photo since you're a MOC member. Cartoon like characters will NOT be accepted. Those are reserved for the Admins and MODs of the forum.

Thank you for devotion to MOC and efforts to keep this club as fabulous as it is. We have a great club and YOU are a part of why that is true.

Best regards,
The MOC Administrative Staff

Mazboy

Britney 10 told ya about the avatars

the photos, in the main area (the text area) of our messages can be added several ways.

Some of us have photos in our signature lines, these are edited in your profile.

Other photos can be and are added in the text of our message.

These last two options require the same thing, the photos must be stored ONLINE, somewhere. That is first. Once you get that far, then the rest can be discussed.

Check out the [s]FAG[/s], errrrr FAQ button at the top of this page, and then ask some more questions, if you need to. **

Welcome to the MOC!!

ON EDIT, it has been very nicely pointed out that I have a typo above, where I meant to type FAQ and in error I typed FAG. Now, that is not a derogatory term, that is an abbreviation for a web site I use a LOT, Find A Grave or FAG. I type it so much, I think I typed it on auto pilot this AM. I am very sorry if any MOCers took it wrong, it was not meant to hurt feelings or insult.

Thanks to the party that pointed out my error of ways!

MAZBOY,
Welcome to the forum and good questions. With so much information out there it is hard to find it.

This link may help with some of those questions.

This link should help get you started with photos in signature block.

If you still need help please ask on the forum and those with more knowledge will be along to help.
