Chalk Creek Campground Colorado

We are in Chalk Creek campground/RV park. Near Nathrop Colorado. Very nice at 7,756 elevation. Near Buena Vista, CO. Other campgrounds in the area. Going to be here a little over a week. Going out exploring tomorrow. Would recommend this RV park. Nice place to spend part of the summer.
Need a good truck to tow on these mountain roads and our new Dodge did great!!

Thanks for the info on the campground. We love going to Colorado and are always looking for recommendations on good campgrounds.

Like your truck! We have the 2007 Dodge RAM 3500 Laramie long bed. Would there be any problem pulling our 3400RL Monty through the mountain roads to get to the park. We have actually been in that area but have never taken our Monty to camp there.

Do you have a dog? I noticed on their web site that they do allow dogs but it says you can never leave them unattended. We of course never leave our little girl unattended outside the trailer, but we do leave her inside if we have to run into town for groceries, etc. Do you know if they have a problem with that?
