San Antonio mulch fire

Anyone passing through the north side of San Antonio should be aware of a large mulch fire that could cause problems with anyone with respiratory problems. It was 80 ft. tall and has been burning since before Christmas. It is located in Helotes. They are starting to tear it apart and say the air quality problems are going to increase for the next several days. Some schools have been closed.

Mulch fire still burning - now they say that the water they are using to put it out is leaching into wells and the aquifer - when the wind is right we can smell it at our stick house - don't think it would affect anyone passing thru - not that near the freeway -
