Fridge fan temperature

Hello, i have a 2014 montana. The fridge is a 12 cb.it has 2 fans in the back panel that came from the factory. Does anyone know what temperature they come on at? Thank you

Don't know the temp, but I know there is a sensor mounted up high on a tube near the coiling fins that turns them on and off.

The fans are controlled by a small thermostat switch located on the cooling fins outside near the top of the fridge, accessible from the upper vent. The switch operates at about 130 degrees at the switch. Several years ago I noticed our fans were not working and I jumpered across the switch and the fans came on. Thank you, the fans are coming on , but the temp in the fridge should be higher, only about 45. Freezer is ok about 10 degrees. I added 2 , 110v fans in the back. One at the bottom and one at the top. I didnt turn them on yet, i want to see how low the factory fans take the temp down.

The fans are important, especially when it's very hot outside. We have the ARP device installed with the two fans controlled with it. The temperature of the outside cooling fins at the top of the fridge is going to be a lot hotter than anything inside the fridge. We are parked with the fridge on the south side, so our fans come on very early in the morning as the sun warms things up, and we've been seeing almost 100 degrees for the last several weeks, and still the fridge and freezer are keeping temperatures in the good range. We were over 90 today and this is what our temperatures in the freezer and fridge are right now, and this after getting things out for dinner.

Tomorrow i will turn on the 2, 120v fans that i installed , to see of the temp comes down.
