Surgery L2-L5 today

Following numbness in both feet for almost a year, came down with total right foot drop a week ago Tuesday. Saw my orthopedic spinal surgeon yesterday and saw that the right side Sciatic nerve was totally blocked and ordered surgery for today. Out of the ER and recovery by 6 PM. Too soon to determine success percentage. He fused the spine and repaired a bunch of other disks with other parts. Sure hope it works so I can drive again,
