taxes ?

Did mine yesterday using a popular tax software ( which I have used for years). Followed the prompts, answered the questions and filled in the figures. I don’t remember it asking for 2nd home mortgage info but it would be stretch for me to claim that. Anyway, after all the itemization (my past several years have been very similar but this year had the sales tax paid on the Monte purchase) the standard deduction ruled. My refund increased by more than 50% over last year - just a few hundred bucks - but I was pleasantly surprised.

I use turbo tax and I was able to deduct the fifth wheel interest as mortgage interest on an additional property. It lowered my tax liability the same as any mortgage interest.

We have deducted all our travel trailers loan interest including our 5er for years. We were told it's a second home because it has a kitchen by our accountant. Hopefully, this year hasn't changed.

I did read somewhere that it had changed to only include a RV with its own motor (class a/c/b etc.) I hope not cus I just our taxes yesterday and itemized the camper loan interest just like the last decade or so.
