Selling is only the beginning--you need SERVICE!

Keystone, if you're reading this thread, just jump right over to the MOC on M.A.R.S. topic and read my post under the subject "Service in Clermont."

Here's a hint: Even after our Montana sat at the dealership for 7+ months, with a complete and detailed work order for MINOR warranty work, our story still doesn't have a happy ending. Thought it did . . . wrong.

Love our Montana, not loving the dealership again. We are Montana-loyal and are one-foot-in, one-foot-out of the market for one of your beautiful new 3465 floor plan models. But first and foremost, we have to know that we can get efficient service for the Montana we now own as well as be assured we can get efficient service, IN A TIMELY MANNER, if we buy another Montana, as we hope to do.

We have the 3465SA and love it but you have to have service areas to go to..we bought in the up of mich at hilltop rv in escanaba,mi... we are only there in july or augest of each year, so we look for a good service dealer as we called keystone and asked , they sent us to dif places here in florida.. good luck on where to go , i sugest going to a dif dealership get out of the 1 you are at ,,,sailer

The major complaint we hear from dealers regarding warranty work is that the manufacturer's will not pay enough or are slow in paying. It is not much different in the auto industry.

The big thing we find here in fl in boat warrenty is the double dipper,,its the dealer complaning he never gets pd by the mfg so he says i have to charge you for the repair so you pay to get it done, then they turn in a claim to the mfg also , we caught a dealer here in bonita springs, fl on a yamaha motor charging me 1435.00 and charging yamaha for 1756.00 , needless to say we caught them and they lost the yamaha franchise the next day ,, it can happen in rv's and cars so be careful,,, sailer
