Propane sniffer

The other day stated to get ready for the south migration. It was really cold in the Monty so turned on the heat. The propane warning horn sounded off.
Very weak. The light was pink instead of red. Turned off furnace and opened up windows and door soon the light became a pale green. Where is the manuel? Well it says to clean the sniffer often. Had never done that. After cleaning works like it was made to work. Lights bright and the test horn normal. So this is just a reminder for all you good campers.

Enjoy your Holidys

How did you clean it? Just a vacuum or did you take it apart?

Thanks Dick, this is good information to have. We have never cleaned ours but will when it comes out of storage.
