Our First Outing

Well, we're back from our first outing with our new Montana and truck. We spent Thursday through Monday at Chincoteague, VA. What a beautiful place to camp! We stayed at Tom's Cove Family Campground. Everything went off without a hitch. We attribute our success in our first outing to the many answers we received at the Montana Owners Club site. Thanks for all the advise folks!
We followed another Montana home on routes 50 and 97 through Maryland. Who was that anyways?
Sometime within the next 2 weeks we plan to travel to New England to catch the changing of the leaves. Hope to run into some of you.
Till next time...
Rudi and Ellen

So great to hear about your successful maiden voyage. Be sure and tell us what you find out about the northeast during your fall trip. That's on our adgenda for next year.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your first time out. You have us really jealous about the fall foliage trip to NE. I (Nancy) was born and raised in Mass and there is nothing like the foliage there. The back roads of New England are very interesting, as well.

Sounds like a nice outing, Rudi and Ellen. We were in that area last March, with our oldest two granddaughters during their Spring Break. We were not at Tom's Cove but drove through there and thought it a nice park. If I recall, they didn't take reservations or were not open yet for the season when we were making reservations. Anyhow, nice area to visit. We hope to do the fall foliage in NE, also, but it will be next year.
