Looking for names for our new Mountaineer

What do some of you folks call your home on wheels?

I have a couple in mind but still thinking. May ask you all to vote on favorite one and help us decide. Any one willing to take that challenge?

If you have any names to recommend I am open to recommendations.
Help me out.
Thanks

Marsha and I have taken to calling our Monty “monster” as we also like the play on words! Actually, now that I have thought about it, the first time we looked at the unit with the former owners, the husband and I were outside talking and, at the angle we were standing, the 3295RK seemed to run on forever. I asked him why would anyone want a big monster like that! It can certainly look intimidating at certain angles.

I have a number of names for ours and they are all original...

My favorite---"The Monty"
or "The Rig"
or "The Trailer"
or my absolute favorite "That Big Money Pit"
I also have a name for the truck and that is "The Truck"

These are all original names that I thought long and hard about but if there is one or more you really like feel free to take it. All I need in return is an acknowledge such as "Name by Glenn"

We, like Glenn and Lorraine, are also very original. We call ours "Monty" and when we are packed for our next adventure its "The Full Monty". The tow vehicle is nothing else but "The Truck" or "The F350"!!

The tow vehicle is Princess - named by my granddaughters when the rig was new. No "official" name for the Montana yet - sometimes Monty, other times "the trailer", or, "our little home on wheels".

Send a message via MSN to Parrothead
We haven't come up with anything yet. Our former unit was Thunder because the truck was White Lightning and thunder always follows lightning. We have some friends who called their 5er and TV Bonnie and Clyde. Let us know what you come up with.
Happy trails.

This is not original as someone on the forum has previously referred to theirs as "The Wheel Estate", they probably won't mind if you use it.

How about the 5er? Or the Bobcar, The McCord.
Well I tried, I know they stink, someone else will do better.

Well I have a couple of my own.
Our favorite right now is Plan B since we are aways from retiring yet, but I think I saw that one or heard that one used by someone else. We would like to be original but if we really like it, it may stick anyway.
A couple of others we are considering.

Our Monty Mansion
Mount Monty
The Wheel Deal
Camp Monty
The Travel Machine
The Dug Out or Clubhouse ( We are Red Sox Fans)
Motel Monty
Monty-mobile
a couple of fun ones

Mansion Du Monty
The Monty Pit

Anyway we probably will never decide but it is a fun thing.

Some are unusaual for sure. If one sounds good let me know. Any other ideas let us now.

Our Montana is "the house." The truck I call "baby".

How about "Whitney", which if I recall my geography is the biggest/tallest mountain in the USA.

OHHH, Bob, you can write these for a living, what a great collection of names! Original, ohhh, I might just have to "borrow" one or more! I kinda favor Mansion DuMonty! what a classy sound that has! Thanks for sharing these, what fun!

Carol

BTW, our truck is Big Butt, for obvious reasons, but the 5er has never been officially named, other than, simply, Montana.

After reading about the "Monty" from so many of you we named ours "Tanna". The Truck is Pull-Tann

I agree Mansion DU Monty is probably our second favorite. I don't know which one my wife will pick. She leans to both of these Plan B and Mansion Du Monty.

I will try to post some more. Maybe I can help allot of Monty owners come up with some names for theirs.

Thanks

LOL. I'll be that gets a lot of funny looks when you say you are going to take the COW out for the weekend! Oh, just realized - Dennis, you best not say that in the interest of your marriage!

The truck has been named Dawnika's Hoss; "The Hoss" for short. The Montana has been named Dawnika's Bellagio. My husband and I have special memories at the Bellagio in Vegas, so that's where that comes from.

Well, we just started calling our 3400RL the Albatross. Only because it is so BIG! People say it is just about the biggest thing they have ever seen. I just laugh. Because it is the BIGGEST thing I know I have ever seen. We went to see my brother at the Colorado River this past weekend. When we were at the road going in, we called him and ask him to meet us at the entrance so that he could show us where to park it. He laughed, he thought we were kidding. When we rounded the corner, he just stood there in amazement kinda laughing, kinda desperately looking for a place to park ALBI!When we opened it up, he was amazed. We figured Albatross or ALBI for short was a good name. But include me in when it comes time to vote.
