2015 Keystone RV Recall
FYI, I came across this info today.
• Keystone RV Co. is recalling certain model year 2015 Keystone Sprinter, Cougar, Montana, Montana High Country, Outback, Bullet, Avalanche, Alpine, Fuzion, Impact, Laredo, Raptor, Carbon, and Passport, and Dutchmen Kodiak, Aerolite, Denali, and Voltage vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the screws that attach the expanding room to the sliding mechanism cable may fail allowing the room to extend unintentionally while the vehicle is in motion. Keystone has notified owners, and dealers will replace the screws that secure the drive chain, free of charge. The recall began on June 18, 2015. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone’s number for this recall is 15-225.

Must have got them from the same place they got the bolts for the steps.

Bet they hate it when this happens. How could they build what is essentially every trailer make under keystone name with defective hardware? John

I'm wondering if the 35 Million dollar fine just given to Forest River ( http://www.elkharttruth.com/news/bus...reporting.html for not notifying their owners of building and safety defects hasn't gotten Keystone motivated to do the right thing!

Are those numbers listed where the date of manufacture is on the side of the unit? I close on a 3160RL this week, and I know it was made in March. Just can't remember the date.
