The salesmen are busy

I know I take crap from time to time because we tow with a Dodge 2500 HD diesel, but ours is a special truck from the factory and we are well within it's stated limits. This does tend to make me notice others tow vehicles, however. Yesterday we parked between a Mobile Suites and a Montana. The folks on both sides were gone and so I didn't see what they were towing with. This morning when they both left I saw the Mobile Suites was towed by a Ford F250 extended cab gasser and the Monty was towed by a Dodge 1500 gasser. I guess it's ok, because a Toyota Tundra can tow a space shuttle. Both trucks and trailers were new so you know someone wasn't telling them what they needed to know.

Last Monday on I-65 S below Montgomery, AL I met a fiver about 32-34' long with a 15-16' boat in tow being pulled by a Ford F-150. Yes, One Fifty! Did not notice make of fiver...couldn't take my eyes off the truck!

Perhaps they also had a "special truck from the factory". They made you one so who knows how many more are out there.

A quick look at the trucks door jam will clear that up.

My truck is built to carry 5 large adults and tow a large horse trailer, you can tell it's not standard from a distance. Also the way it sits on the springs, size and number of springs (clearly visible over and around the tires), size of disk brakes, etc. These were both stock models without a towing package. Very easy to tell when the king pin sat down on them.

Dick...could it be that you ran into the two people that inspired "dumb and dumber"? Me thinks so, therefor I must be correct! (Insert smile on your face here). John
