I am on my 3rd tow vehicle. All have been DRW. I am on my 1st 4x4. I really do not need it, but finding a 4x2 Ram is almost impossible.
My vote is for both, 4x4, DRW. If money is a issue, the DRW is a must have and the 4x4 second.
Towing: my owners manual says to NOT TOW for the first 500 miles and if you tow in the next 500 miles to not exceed 50mph. So basically no towing for the first 1,000 miles. As mentioned, have the salesman read the book....
