Jimmy, we only have 4 cats with us, but it's not them that adds the weight. It's all the extras we have. Dry weight leaving the Factory was 14K, so once you load up all the dishes, pots and pans, computers, DVDs, and food and clothing for extended stays it adds up in a hurry. Plus we have the 12"/10" frame same as the newer Montanas so we've even gone a step further on over kill and upgraded to 17.5" wheels with "H" rated tires and will add the 8K Mor/ryde IS in May. But we also put 10 to 15K on the unit with summer travels and 2014 will be an Alaska trip.
