Dometic Penguin operation

Just bought a new Dometic Penguin 13500 btu ac with the local air duct housing for my bedroom area. The user manual notes the ac cool modes, high and low, will cause the fan to run at the selected speed while the compressor cycles on and off with the heat. My unit shuts down (fan doesn't continue to run) when the ac has reached the preset level, then comes back on when the temp goes back up. I know several of you have this same unit added for your bedroom with manual controls and direct venting from the unit. Do I have a problem or does your unit work the same way? Thanks.

On our Penguin, the fan runs continuously while the compressor cycles. Always has. I think I might like it to operate like yours does tho.

Fan also stays running on mine as well. If I had a choice, I wish it would shut off when the compressor cycles.
