Interesting model planes

A friend sent this to me, I would like to share it ..

The B-29 runs on four chainsaw motors. You can just imagine how much time, effort, skill and money these guys have put into this thing. Just remarkable!

The skill in building such a model plane is truly amazing, but equally impressing are the superior piloting skills involved.

That is way cool - thank you for sharing.
I can't even imagine the hours put into that unit.
Something tells me he has more than a passing interest.

The guys who built that are studs! I have only been flying for a couple of months but I still crash and destroy a wing every time. These guys are seriously into this!

Okie, I sure never heard of anyone using "chainsaw" motors in those, but like you say, those fellows are serious!!

How would you like to see one of those flying across the highway in front of you when you're towing the Monty down the road?

The guys (and girls) in the hobby use motors ranging from electric, gas, diesel, nitro, 1 cylinder 2 stroke, 2 through 4 cylinder conventional, 3 through 9 cylinder radials, and chainsaw. There are even turbo jets and turbo prop motors now. Prices can exceed $4000.00 per motor for some of these. I forgot to mention the co2 and rubber band powered planes. The technology used in these planes is quite staggering. Bob

yea sailer if I built one would have to have a rubber band motor, unless I can hit you up for a loan, I would want one with chainsaw motors and all of them "chipped" lol
