Replacing outer bulb seal on slides...

I am replacing the outer rubber bulb seals that have gone bad. I took the plastic corner pieces off, and have cut and fit the new bulb seals into their grooves, and now need to re-install the corner pieces to finish it all up.

What I want to know is, what type of sealant is used under the plastic corner pieces of the slides. It doesn't appear to be Dicor sealant, it seems more like some kind of white silicone caulking. Anyone know for sure what it is?

When I replaced ours, I just cleaned off the old sealant and used clear silicone to caulk it all back. It seems to be working just fine.

We used white silicone outdoor caulk. We had to use the same thing on the lower corners on our leaking bedroom slide on our 2010.
