Welcome to the 2016 MOC Annual Fall Rally!
On behalf of Sharon and myself, Ron & Mary Lichtenberg and Glenn & Mary Strom we want to extend a warm welcome to the 2016 Fall Rally. We are making every effort to make this an exciting and informative event for everyone.
As stated in the Rally announcement, only registrations are being taken at this time - PLEASE use the proper registration procedure as outlined in LadyRV's announcement.
Once you have sent in your reservation, please check the "Registration list" posting to be sure all your information is correct. If something needs to be changed post a "reply" to that topic or send a PM to bish.
WE ARE NOW COLLECTING FEES, PLEASE READ THE 7/27 UPDATE BELOW
As with past Rallies, this is a VOLUNTEER-BASED event and we need YOUR help to make this YOUR Rally to meet YOUR expectations. Volunteering and contributing is not as daunting as it may seem, especially for first-timers. Getting involved gives you a sense of belonging and is an excellent way to meet and form lasting friendships with other MOC members. When the call goes out for volunteers in the Rally section of the Forum, please step up and do your fair share.
Constructive comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated by the WM's. We can all agree that the current and past WM's are not professional rally organizers, mistakes can be made and not all decisions will be agreeable with everyone. We also have commitments and responsibilities outside of the Rally so please bear with us if we don't respond immediately. We will do our best.
Last but not least, PLEASE READ, UNDERSTAND and FOLLOW all "official" Rally announcements and direct your questions to the appropriate people (WM's, Coordinators, MOC Admins etc.)
Stay tuned and watch for updates, we look forward to working with everyone to make this Rally another top notch event!
UPDATES:
7/25 We have had a great response of volunteers early on but will still need help in some areas. We will be posting a "Coordinators list" soon. Please watch for it and if you see something open, please volunteer.
One change for 2016. We are
not going green. What that means is, we will be providing plates, plastic-ware and napkins for all the eating events. If you would like to bring your own silverware and napkins, feel free to do so.
However, everyone must use the plates we are providing. The reason for this is that there have been numerous complaints the past couple years about people bringing over-sized tray type plates to the meals resulting in less food available for those in line later.
While we are on the subject of food. Please be considerate of those going thru the line last and take a smaller portion. There is always food left over to go back thru a second time.

7/27 We are now collecting Rally fees. There is a new posting on the Rally site titled "Up Date on Registration & Rally Fees.
Please read the information and follow the instructions to pay your fees.
8/10 We have posted the 2016 Coordinator and Session Leader List. Please go to that topic and review the
OPEN positions and if interested reply to the topic to volunteer. We would appreciate everyone's help.
8/19 Putting the final touches on the schedule. Look for the schedule early next week!
8/31 THE RALLY SCHEDULE IS POSTED ON THE HOME PAGE (THERE IS A LINK POSTED IN THE RALLY AREA) - CHECK IT OUT TO BE SURE YOU HAVEN'T MISSED ANYTHING!
9/13 For the first timers, Please use the main gate (GATE 2) for entrance to the Fairgrounds. This will take you right to the office for check-in and the site escorts will be close by to guide you to your site.
Speaking of sites, we hope to have the site list posted tomorrow and will also notify the fairgrounds so they know what site to put you in.
Hopefully everyone has looked over the schedule and postings for all the activities. If not, be sure to do so and also sign up for activities that are still open. Don't be left out.

PLEASE REPLY TO THE"REGISTRATION LIST" POST IF A CORRECTION IS NEEDED. WE USE THIS INFORMATION TO PRINT THE NAME BADGES SO WE WANT IT TO BE CORRECT. THANK YOU!
