Shore Power Cord

Anyone found a good way to water seal the power cord connection to the fiver? I've had two instances where water has gotten into the receptacle, in spite of having a good connection and the twist cap tightly screwed on.

I moved mine into the utility closet. Cord comes through water access

Never had that problem, but I've always used a high quality L connector at the back of the rig. Don't see why that would be the difference, however.

I have never had a problem like that even in a down poor for days. I did see a guy one time use a plastic bag one time cause his power coed was all worn and in need of replacing.

We have been in some really heavy rains and, as far as I know, have never gotten any water into the receptacle. At least it has never been wet inside when I have disconnected. And I never screw the ring cap on.
