Neighbors Black Tank

Yesterday I was out doing my final black tank flush before our trip and a younger guy walked up and asked for some assistance. His Mom had purchased a camper down the street about a year ago and had always just left the black and gray valves open. She had called him down to her camper because the black tank was full and nothing was coming out anymore! I explained to him what had happened, how she should be doing it, and told him where to go purchase the clear elbow sewer backflush valve like I had on mine. He left to buy it and I checked with him an hour or so later and he had gotten it unplugged and rinsed out. He said the place she bought the used camper from told her just to leave all the valves open.

Your a great neighbor. Here advise from the sales staff is another example of how sales people turnover leaves the buying public with worse than no information. We just bought a new Prius and the salesman, while being nice enough, had less than complete knowledge of what car could do and how to make it do it.

It's nice to be asked for help. I try not to inject myself into someone's affairs, unless it's about to hurt me! Lol. Your a good neighbor!

Have helped a few new Rv owners on that one nobody ever tells them to keep the valve closed and use lots of water when flushing or you get the dreaded pyramid ,they are lucky you got it flushed out O.K. for them it can get BAD ,when I got my first RV nobody told me either I just happened to mention to another Rver next to me it was my first RV and he told me to make sure I do that, Never be afraid to ask for advise
