Slide out roof fabric

After retracting my slides I noticed the dining room slide roof covering (nt the slide out topper) has been damaged by birds or squirrels. How can I repair this?

All my Montanas have had the same material on the slide roofs as on the roof itself ... EPDM rubber. If it's just a scratch or small gouge ... Eternabond tape. If it's all over ... perhaps a new rubber roof. There is a roll-on roof coating but I don't have any feedback from anyone using it.

Mine have also been the EPDM rubber. Either the tape or EPDM rubber patch kit (available @ Amazon or CW) will work to cover the damage (depending on size). Because it is on the slide I would recommend using lapping compound on the edges to protect the patch/tape as you are putting the slides in or out. -Glenn

The damage seems to be about 6-8 inches in diameter. I think I will check on the EDPM patch kit. I have some eterna Bond tape. Maybe I will try that first and see what happens.
