Connect TST TPMS Repeater to Battery?

Was told by TST to connect the reater to the battery. Haven't got the first idea how to do this.

Is this an easy job for a do it yourselfer...willing to give it a shot.

I wired ours, white wire to the frame and black wire, which has the fuse in it, using a ring connector, to one of the battery side posts of the auto reset fuses on the wall above the batteries. I did install a switch inline with the fuse, so I could switch off the repeater if we are stopped for a long time.

We did the same as Bob. We used a table lamp roller switch. Self tapping screw to the frame and the fused wire with a ring terminal to the firewall hot wires.

I hang mine in the back window of our truck and didn't want it to be permanent, so I got a 12v extension cord, cut the outlet off the end and crimped and taped the wires together. Now I can remove the whole thing or just the power whenever I want. Since the cat cage takes up the back and the seats are down when we travel, I plug the whole thing into the rear 12v outlet. When we're staying put and want to carry passengers, we fold up the cat carrier, unplug the extension cord and store it under the seats.
