Microwave not heating as good as it was?

If you think that the ole microwave is starting to go south on you, that cold cup of coffee takes forever to heat up.. here is a test for any microwave.
Some have two magnatrons, there is a test to check to see which one is bad, if one is actually bad... but you can easily get killed working on the innards of a microwave, so I suggest staying out of there unless you have microwave repair training. Repeat: VERY DANGEROUS, stay out of there.
But the initial timing test is safe and will let you know if it is Ok and you are just impatient and grouchy. Which is my case BTW.

Oz, I never got bit by a microwave, but I managed to contact the anode on an old TV a few times while trouble shooting

Yes, those old TV's would kick a big one..

Dick, That's another project, the new one volunteered to give up all it's parts to the old one I have. They are both on the table for the operation.
The one you brought is entirely different than mine as far as mounting goes. It will still be utilized.
