Snowbirds are flying north

I had to go to Warrenton, VA today to pick up a vehicle for our dealership. Route was I-81 to Winchester and VA-17. Lots of fifth wheels and motorhomes streaming North, a lot with Canadian Plates. Hope everyone had a great time. I can only surmise that this is a popular route which connects to I-95 south of Warrenton for the snowbirds.

Yep! They are streaming north in great numbers. Lots of French Canadians stopping in at CW, as well as many others, all coming from I95. We are at exit 41 in NC, stop by and visit.

When the big storm hits that we sent you yesterday, you'll find the flow drying up for a day or two. We only had a dust storm and 50mph winds. We managed to miss the snow and tornados, but the storm picked those things up heading your way. Keep your heads down.

Noticed quite a few still in the 3 parks in Navarre, Fl. Suppose the late spring up north kept them here longer.

Oh, yeah. The Flying J in NEPA is awash with campers heading north. Use to be we would watch for the geese flying south for the winter and then back again in the spring. Now is's the campers!
