...... While living in England two years ago, I belonged to several American Women's Clubs. We had a British lady at one of our meetings(she did a makeover on one of our members) who's a very successful hair and makeup artist.
She's worked on numerous movie sets with various movie stars including Brad Pitts (Troy). She also had a real Oscar with her and said her father won it ( I don't recall the category) for Goldfinger. As I was practically drooling over it, she handed it to me and took my picture.
It is heavier than I expected, about 8 lbs I think.
Sorry to say it isn't mine but it was fun to give an acceptance speech
