New from KC
Hello to all, Just purchased a 2014 3402rl,will pick up in a couple of weeks. Wife and I will begin our FT adventure from KC before the snow flies here again. We decided not to wait till we are in our 60's to hit the road, just turned 50 and have a 30 yr retirement from military and govt. service. We have been researching for over a year but, I am sure will still have plenty of questions. Look forward to being part of the community.

Congrats! It would be my opinion as a new full timer that you have picked the correct rig and TV to pull it. We love this lifestyle and plan on doing it as long as we can. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome aboard MOC and congrats on the new 3402rl. As DQDick posted, come on up to join us at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground. It's the MOC Central Plain Regional Rally(CPRR) and we have attendees from Coast to Coast this year. If you are considering it, CALL Pine Grove ASAP! It is Christmas in July weekend here at the campground and it fills up pretty quickly with reservations.
If you can't make it to the CPRR consider the National MOC Fall Rally in Goshen, IN at the end of September.
Hope to see you at one of the fore mentioned Rallies and if not hope to meet you on the road somewhere along the way!

Hey there... we're in a similar situation (actually today is hubby's 50th birthday and I think his gift is going to be the RV -- after we see it again!) We are up for a grand adventure while we are "young" too. It's going to be quite the comfort zone stretch for us. Looking forward to sharing "newbie" stories with you!

We will not be on the road in time to make the rallies this year. Plan to hit the road by the end of September. We just accepted offer for our house with a close date of September 30th. Carolwain how soon are you guys planning to hit the road.
