Batteries & Inverter

I'm sure some of you are running multiple batteries with an inverter. I need some advice as to what to buy (brands and models) and how the inverter (brand and models) was hooked up. Is this a do-it-yourself or have it done?

Hooking up mutable batteries and inverters can be completed by yourself and you follow manufactures instructions, assuming you are talking of an inverter and not a converter, there is a differance. we have them installed in our service trucks to run our equiptment with clean voltage. just make sure you don't skimp on your supply wire to the inverter after a 10 to 15 foot run it becomes touch and go, so mount the inverter close to the batteries and your 110 volts can make up the differance in length if you use # 12 gage wier as you would in your home.

I favor the Lifeline AGM batteries. They are completely sealed, give off no gases, and are maintenance free. You'll get a lot of opinions on batteries, but go with your gut feeling and...your wallet.
