Do you remember............
.......Those Ladybug like Japanese beetles? On an earlier post I said they are back. Well, I found a herd of them today. I was applying some treatment to the slide seals and in the inside of one of the round vertical seals on the outer edge of the slide (it is hollow). Suddenly, about 50-60 of the little beetles fell out the bottom the seal. A little bug spray and mass extermination. The point is that they hide everywhere.

Thanks

It has frozen here several times and the little beasties are still coming out when it warms a bit. But there are not near as many as before. I have many under the slide topper on the top gasket and will try to borrow Lindy's leaf blower and blow them out. The Osage Oranges that Rondo sent seem to be doing their job, helped along with some bay leaves. I think we have seen only a half dozen inside the rig in the last week. So something seems to be working... Dave

I wipe down the seals with Aerospace Protectant 303. I don't spray anything directly on because some of the propellants are a problem. I put it on a cloth and wipe them down. On the blade like seals, I get under them also.

We have found the perfect cure for those nasty beetles here in Wisconsin. -0 weather and a couple of feet of snow. Gotta' love that Global Warming.
