Why is the city or town of the member given but not the state or province? Knowing someone is from Smithville or Gainestown tells me nothing, but knowing the state or province tells me a lot about the conditions that the individual uses their rig and where they might get service or maintenance done.

I included my state in my city/town description because the specified state field was not showing up.

In this day and age ... the less you display about yourself ... the better. Where a member is specifically located isn't something I place of importance. What he/she posts is.

True BUT ~~ I stated 'eastern NC" as my location which gives some location but not my small town. I also like to see the year, model of the Monty and TV as well. Sometimes people have those things in common.

There is a memberlist that is searchable in a number of ways...

List here: http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/memberlist.php

Here's a link to the advanced search function: http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/....php?do=search

The location field is one of those glass half full or half empty deals depending on who you are. Some folks want to detailed info - others don't want to share it. It's hard to please everyone.
