No one seems to be answering your question but the answer is probably NO. It might work on your 13.5btu however.
I have a 2200watt but have not tried an a/c yet.
I do know that if I use the fireplace and turn a couple of lights on it pops the circuit on the generator....so it is maxed out there.

Bottomline is if you want one for an a/c unit get one with more wattage.

I put softstarts on both ac unit and run two Honda 2200 running in parallel (using one bonded plug) to run both ACís with a little left over (or you can use one 2200 to run one AC with a smidge of leftover capacity). I like this option the best (if you donít mind the cost) because you canít beat the dependability of a Honda and you have the option to only run one generator when only one AC is needed, and therefore you save fuel. They are also easier than one large generator to handle (move around).

Honda power

Running a 15 k a/c on a 2008 monty for going on 10 years using a Honda handi 3000. It runs the air without problems. Wgt about 72 pds, has wheel and handle to pull it with. Cost around 2100.00 but never had a problem. Runs quiet and faithful.. Just remember, you get what you pay for !!!

We use 2 2000 Hondas they start our rear A/C just fine., and if all you need is 1, to charge a battery, etc it only weighs 47#, you can't beat Honda dependability.

I use two 2000 watt epower generators powered by Yamaha I bought at Costco for $500 each and run them parallel. I can run one ac at a time. If you need to run the microwave you need to shut the ac off.
