2014 3725RL Water Filling black tank

When we hooked up our water this time we heard it gushing into something... We pulled the bottom off and looked around - what a mess...
Wires and tubes just hanging around and one of the water hoses had come loose and was leaking... After that was fixed we still hear water gushing and nothing is open in the RV and no water anywhere inside but we checked the tanks and it is filling up the black tank... How does that happen and how do we fix it? Montana tech just wanted us to take it in but after the last attempt with Camping World I would rather do it ourselves.... We are thinking the backflush valve maybe? It has been replaced once already..... Not sure what else it could be and YES we are hooked to the right port (I keep a pressure gauge attached...)

Thank you all!

Sure sounds like you hooked up to the Black Tank Flush instead of the City Water hookup

It could be the toilet valve not closing all the way, allowing water to fill the tank. Can't imagine this not being visible, but just a guess.

It is a common thing for folks to hook the incoming water to the black tank flush they are one above the other.

Labeling on the water hookups can be questionable in the convenient center. There are two water hookups-- one for city water and one for the black tank flush. They are one over top the other. The labeling may be messed up- it has happened before. Normally the city water is the one on the top and the black tank flush is the one on the bottom.

Thanks everyone! I leave a pressure guage on the city water port so I'm sure I didn't connect it wrong.... Must be the valve then. It's already been replaced once....

The only way city water input can fill the black tank is through the toilet. My old aqua magic two did this on several ocassions before it overflowed the toilet bowl and flooded the rv. Advice is ditch it and replace with domestic 310 or 320.

Problem solved. Connection was on the black tank flush port
