After reading what the guy said, it sounds like an outstanding battery, especially with boondockers. I wonder what they have for truck sized applications.

Sounds great BUT... did you see the price??
I'd have to take out a separate insurance policy just for the battery. Imagine if some lowlife stole this thinking it was just a regular battery!
Interesting nonetheless ... a good find Ozz!

Oh yeah! I'd love to have a set in my Ram as well as in the Monty. I'm going out tomorrow to buy a lottery ticket!

Yes, exnavydiver, I saw that and did some math. $75 Batteries seem to last about three years, maybe longer. So that would be $150-$200 every three years. 1800/200=9X3=27 years before I break even. The price is going to have to come down a lot to be viable. But I think it is a great battery. At the least, I would consider a deep cycle for the RV if I did a lot of boondocking.

They say they will last 9-15 years, yet the warranty is only 5 years. Yet, the company and battery are brand new. Hmmmm!

At the money there asking for one battery I can buy a lot of Wal-Mart deep cycle batteries or get a Onan gen set put in the Monty.
So how many are you buying Ozz?
I'll stick with my Optima batteries they have gone for 4 years now and still going strong.

I'm on my third year of a $79.00 Wally World marine battery and all is fine. That's an awful lot of money for 12 volts, about $200 a volt....Whew, makes my head spin........!!!!!!

Oh, the Beans and Franks crowd?
I'm jus' a poo boy from the back country...
Hey, we have been watching Alaska State Troopers on the Boob-tube,, thinking about you guys. Man them 'Skeeters are as big as Missouri horse flies! The show is just like 'Cops' is, just shows the seedy side of a location.
I imagine there are nice populated areas up there as well as the stuff they show on their shows.

Ozz, being that I have a space problem they do get my attention. May have to tell my son to sell another one of those Black Angus cows.

Wow, that would be great to have a member try one out and report to the MOC.
I think they would be great, as far as I can see, the cost is the only drawback.
Sell that cow!
I hope you two are enjoying your new lifestyle.

I am assuming they are vent free like a AGM.

I was thinking they would be great in a server room when space is always a issue.

I need new batteries. My 2 NEW 12v deep cycle cheap dealer batteries almost last 2 days dry camping. We are weekend warriors (dry camping is about all we do it seems). I was going to the LifeLine brand which i had before on my camper but now i will probably look at getting this. Phase 1 Generator Done, Phase 2 Batteries, Phase 3 Inverter, Phase 4 Solar.

Im just now jumping into this... again coming from sailboats I dont see how 1500 bucks for 100 amps is good?

So I dont see how they claim to replace 4 lead acid batteries with this. Anyhoooo... ill stick with a good 200-250 amp lead acid battery.
