A shot gun works best but the old spring traps are 2nd best.

I am fairly sure we terminated all the mice we got 4 of them with the sticky traps. No
activity last night. My guess is mom and dad got in and had a litter .We got two big ones and two smaller ones. Will keep the traps set for another night but we are clean this AM.

Death by paving block Texan Helen would not let me shoot them as the smallest we have on board is 45 cal.

I feel sure we could get them if I could get to them .. I just hear them in th ceiling and down the walls !!! So very frustrating !! I have traps set but I don't think they are getting into the living area of the trailer or the storage areas !!

They are looking for food so we made sure they found it. Sticky traps baited with ritz crackers in the pantry and set along their travel routes determined by the trail of droppings.

Bucket traps work well, I’ve heard. Found the small round spring loaded work good for me baited with peanut butter. Put them where they might gain entry. Basement and check behind convenience center cover.

This weekend we ended up with another rat in our basement area. Over the last few years I thought they were getting in at the lp tanks so we blocked it with hardware cloth then we thought they were getting in at the hose in the convenience center again blocked it with the plunger, so thought the rat problem gone. NO not yet. I woke to a rustling under the sink in the trash to find yet again another one and later to find after removing the basement wall to the water heater furnace area and find lots of rat and mouse P&^p. So i cleaned the area and found that over the black pipe they cut a hole in the lower tin wrap to mount the hanger strap to the frame and that little hole led straight to the basement where they had nothing to stop them from getting in. so i plugged that hole and hopefully that will solve it. But what i want to say is i went to tractor supply to buy a rat trap and the sales person said because of the hurricane all the traps were sold except the 50 dollar victor electronic trap, so i bought it and after installing the c battery's i set the trap under the sink, and wham after two hours the rat was caught and killed. THIS THING WORKS. and no more rats or mice. at least for now. I was to cheap to buy a good trap always looking at the 3 dollar stick traps and the failing snap traps and now this has been the best spent dollar, the rat didn't escape and now we can sleep again.
