Slide seal missing??? or what???

We have a 2015 Montana High Country 353RL, bought in January 2016, under warranty. My husband recently discovered that the bottom of the bedroom slide has no seal or anything to keep bugs and critters out. He said you can reach right up under the slide to the bottom of the bed. When we looked online, it looks like what he thinks is missing is called an "EK SEAL BASE WITH WIPER." Called Keystone, they said take it back to dealership where purchased---4 hours away---or gave us 2 other alternative authorized dealers/repair centers----both 2 hours away. (They actually referred us to a third, 45 minutes away, but when we called, he gave us a zillion reasons why he couldn't do the job!) My husband balked---big time. Too far to drive, he says, for a minor job that he could do in 15 minutes, if he just had the rubber seal. Talked to selling dealership......asked about getting the seal.....they told him they checked other Montana High Countries on the lot, NONE of them have this slide seal. Any other High Country owners know anything about this seal?

Sounds like the dealer is BSing you. If you can reach up and do what you describe, something ain't right. We don't have a HC, but our slides have seals on the bottoms.

I just checked my 2014 High Country. The slides are sealed with a black plastic material and there is a rubber sweep that seals against the main wall from the inside when the slide is extended.
