Correct Track™ Installation
I just installed the Lippert Correct Track System on my 2018 Montana 3701LK today. I needed the 2" lift to be able to back up my driveway due to excessive dragging, even after installing 4 steel caster rollers on the back underside of the frame.
My purpose of informing you about this is because on the left side, the Correct Track plates had to be modified because the suspension plates would not fit due to the iron propane line running the length of the frame. I had to modify the hanger plates from the kit in order to make it fit. Just a FYI.

The thing you should know is that some of us look at that iron pipe as a huge improvement. On our old 2010 The loom holding the utilities for the kitchen went right behind the tires and when we had a blowout it tore the loom completely off, rubber hose and all. Having the propane pass the tires in metal instead of rubber and going clear to the rear is a plus in my book. Just wanted you to know the reason. Thanks for warning everyone of the issue it causes.

Keep an eye on the spring brackets welded to the beam after the correct trac install. The extra 2" length puts more side to side force on them in sharp turns. Would be a good idea to weld tube steel between them from side to side.

Correct track installation
It would be an easy 1 hour or less job for a plumber, gas fitter, or handyman to reroute a short part of that pipe. I don't know if what you did affected the Correct Track systems effectiveness or durability , but I think I might have moved the pipe. Too late for you now but others doing this install might want to consider this.

As for functionality of correct track ... correct track will allow you to align each axle to one another and both axles square to the frame. Correct track will not adjust camber or toe in of each axle.

dieselguy, I don't think Dexter axles can be adjusted camber and tow in either, may be wrong.. Had Correct Track installed to correct axle alignment after accident.

Even without the Correct Track, a good trailer alignment shop can make everything work, alignment, camber, and toe. They do this by carefully bending the axles.

Totally agree with Bob. I've had the Montana axles tweeked by Atlas Spring and Axle in Wichita on my last two fivers. They do a great job of adjusting camber and toe by bending the axle tubes as needed. They always have big truck trailers and equipment trailers in their bays when I drop off my fivers. I'll mention again ... "Correct Track" will not fix camber and toe issues ... it will adjust axle alignment to each other and to the frame itself.

I agree, correct track is basically a worthless selling gimmick.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's worthless as your axles should be parallel to one another and square to the frame. Correct Track will help with these two adjustments.
