Want Your Rig weighed? NEW UPDATE
This year we are thinking of offering the attendees the
chance to get their fifth wheels and TVs weighed. The cost to have the units weighed will be $60 per rig. It is a per wheel weigh in!
IF you are interested in this, please post here on this thread. We do have to have a specific number wanting to have their rigs weighed to finalize this offering.
Thanks!
Your Wagon Masters
UPDATE--SEPTEMBER 29th-- IF you are an attendee here at the Fall Rally and you signed up here on the this thread to have your rig and TV weighed AND if you were not at the RV Weight & Tire Safety class session on Thursday afternoon, YOU NEED TO CONTACT LINDA I SITE 185 on Harley Hill TO GET ON THE LIST to have your to schedule your truck and unit weighed in!!!
UPDATE-- 9/4/2014 Just to update you on the rig weigh-ins-- The weigh-ins will be done on October 1st, the pull-out day for our Rally. The trucks will be weighed separately sometime during the week of the Rally and a schedule will be set up for all to sign that want their units weighed. The Payne's, who are doing the Weigh-ins, are certified agents for the RVSEF and will be putting on a seminar/session on Thursday the 26th in the big tent at 2:30-4:00PM. They will be posting a sign-up sheet for the trucks to be weighed during the Rally so if you want or have already signed up to have your unit weighed be sure to attend this session so you can get on the schedule to have your truck weighed during the week.
The cost to have your rig and truck weighed is $60 and they will accept CASH, CHECK(payable to RVSEF)or by CREDIT /DEBIT CARD. If paid by credit/debit card the cost is $62 which includes the processing fee for payment.

Jim depending on how many we have that want their rigs checked for height, we will more than likely do the height check as you pull into the Fair Grounds and check in at the office.

Last time they did it they weighed the truck attached to the Montana on arrival then the truck later after you set up. Hummm..or maybe it was another rally...

Wish we were attending this year. Would have been glad to volunteer for this. I have a set of portable scales and height measurement equipment at work that are no longer used.

If it is the same one that did it before they weigh your truck and trailer when you come in. Then you park the trailer and go back right away and weigh just the truck. Individual wheel weights.

The folks that are doing the weighing are not the same ones that did it two or three years ago! Those folks were already scheduled for another rally and their price had gone up to $70. The couple that is doing the weigh in will weigh your truck after you check in and then on the final day as you are pulling out they will weigh the complete rig and tv. You will get a report via email or actual mail within two weeks of your final weigh in. IF there is any changes in the weigh in policy I will post it here on the Forum!
