NOT A HAPPY CAMPER

Well, we have had the Monty for 2 months now and love the idea and the time we have spent in it.

BUT, so far, the following has failed:

Slide controller leaks
Converter failed
Refrigerator control eyebrow fell off
Brake wires rubbing against leaf spreings and wearing thru. Thank goodness I knew to check this from this forum and dealer put them in flex conduit.
Rubber roof does not appear to be glued down
Fantastic fan controller doesn't always work
kitchen sink faucet leaks during travel
Some trim on one slideout is missing.
Main slide topper torn upon delivery
Table leaf badly gouged and very poorly finished

These are just the things bad from the factory.

Of course, the dealer and keystone are paying to get it fixed but we wanted to be living in it by now.

Does it ever end???

RADHAZJOE, what do you mean "slide controller leaks"? If nothing has been done to fix that and it is what I think it is, you need to call me Monday at my desk. My number is 574-537-8900 ext 4303.

well I picked up Monty from the hospital at Dixie RV today. Everything has been fixed except fantastic fan. Nedds a new motor which they are ordering and sending to me.

Dixie RV Superstore in Hampton, VA, especially greg Stadlin, but everyone has worked their tails off to make it happen. We sleep in Monty tonight in our driveway and its off to the US Open on friday.

Just a few more things to put in storage or give to friends and family and house is bare for new owners.

See you all on the road. Here ever we go, there we are.
