Dometic 320
I found some water around the 320 last night and it was coming from around the foot peddle, I thought it was a water valve at first but it ends up being that the screw that hold the peddle on is stripped and the peddle is loose. the screw seems to go in to a shaft and when i press the peddle all the way down to empty the bowl the water looks like it might be coming from there. Question is can i get replacement parts and or can i just use a bigger screw?

The water shouldn’t come from the pedal, there is a cartridge that is all self contained. It’s easy to replace. My guess it’s a leak in the cartridge. You can call dometic they have good customer service and can get you the parts you need.

Just fixed mine with the same problem. It was the water valve. Got the upgraded valve on Amazon. Quick fix.

I did some more checking, Removed the peddle as it was loose and found the screw that hold the peddle on to another part stripped. it looks like it goes in to a piece that moves the flapper as it has a slotted cam on it. I checked the water valve and it is not leaking, so i put it back together with a little larger screw and tried it. I filled the toilet and no leak, i thought great and then i emptied and then it leaks all over the floor. I think im going to have to call Dometic. any ideas i could try before i do?

Well i called Dometic. Bad news is. No replacement parts except the water valve or gasket. The lady i spoke to was real nice and commented on how there toilets were user fixable up to the 300 series and now its not so. But the good news there sending me a new toilet. Just an FYI, If the peddle breaks or come off the toilet is junk even though it should not be the case. But Dometic is a first class company and comes highly recommend by this full timer.
