Off to pick up Montana!

All packed and ready to travel from Redding CA to Nacogdoches Tx for Friday morning Delivery! My trusty dog and I will make the Trek alone. Wife catching up by air on way to Salem NY. Will post all about PDI experience. Thanks to all of you, I feel ready to cover lots of details. Thanks one and all! It's like 3 days before Christmas, when I was 11 years old! Lol

Take the time to make your check list both for PDI and setup/take down. If it is good for astronauts and pilots, it will serve you well. Congrats and Happy RVing.......................

Ahhhhhhh so you're heading to Genuine RV then lol I know they sold Keystone, but never seen Montana's there...... If so I will say I have only heard good things about Genuine. You are not the first person I know that has travel from Ca. to Genuine to buy a RV. Have fun on the adventure.

Hope your trip goes well...in both directions! You may want to locate an authorized Montana service center near your home base as soon as you can...NOT suggesting you are headed towards problems with your Montana, but it is good to know where to take it to in the event of an issue you can't deal with.

Wow! When I was 11 years old I couldn't even leave the house by myself much less drive from CA to TX, then to NY. Your mommy and daddy are so cool! And that "tent" you get to sleep in. Again, WOW!

Congrats. Sounds like a fun trip. A man and his dog... then the wife is gonna show up! I hope she brings the milk and cookies.

No RV Station beat them. This was only of a handful fully optioned throughout the Nation, without fancy paint. Wanted it to match our trucks. They beat out Genuine on what they had available!

Not even close. They wanted 12k more than I paid for mine, for their lot model that had almost 15k less in options. Roseville CamperWorld came much closer, but their similar coach was in Florida. Redding RV has agreed to do all our warranty work and Keystone had no problem. Redding RV has other Keystone products and since they sold us our new Komfort 12 months ago they welcomed the business. Frankly no one could have matched our final price. Plus we were going that way!!

Unless Redding RV has changed the service there sucks. I bought a new rig from them 10 tears ago and couldn't get anything done ontime or correctly. Just my opinion.

Left Redding Tuesday and arrived at noon today at RV in Nacogdoches TX.. Wow what a great experience. This family runs a great RV center. My Montana shined inside and out. Drawers vacuumed, wipe clean every service was sparkling. Gave me the short list of items they found and repaired. Went over every inch while Mandy my sales lady watched my dog! They then escorted me to RV park and saw that I was in good hands with the park owners. I will spend next two days living in the Montana. RV Station will provide any service needed at the Park. All is great so far. A ceiling fan that vibrates at high speed is only issue I can find so far... Makes Internet buying experience less stressful when dealing with these folks. They took the time and went over every option on the MSRP and pointed those items out. Plus they were happy I came prepared with list in hand! Thanks to all of you for your assistance. I am bushed! Lol
I forgot. I love our Montana!!!
