Bedroom slideout

Is anyone familiar with adjustments on the bedroom slideout? Is it something I can do myself? I have discovered a small leak in the bedroom when the slideout is closed, and I think it may be out of adjustment. All the seals etc seem to be in good shape. Thought I might try fixing it myself before hauling it 50 miles to the dealer. Any suggestions appreciated.

I had that same problem on mine a couple of years ago. What I found was that the seal would not tuck in all the way as it is supposed to. So what I do now is every time I retract the slide I stop it when it is about 6" from being all the way in, and then go out and tuck it the rest of the way in. Kind of a pain, but no more leaking problems.

Someone posted information on doing this a few months (or more) ago. Try searching on 'Slide adjustment' with all groups maybe?

It may not even be an adjustment. Your trailer just might be unlevel. Mine did the same thing.

I am going to give this a try to see if it makes a difference. It is raining today (again) so I will take a look at it when it stops raining and see what effect it had. Thanks.
