It was sad...
...I had to give the lady a pink cocktail to protect her during the winter. Do you know my wife didn't know my truck was a he and the 5er a lady...sometimes...
Gave her the pink cocktail on Saturday, today it snowed...timing is everything.
I am looking forward to the "resurrection" in February with my first trip out booked for the 4th of March.

Wow, sucks to have to winterize each year. I used to do the whole bit with my old RV but quit because a 30 degree day was rare here in my part of Texas. All we do now is blow the water out with a compressor so we're ready to go at a moment's notice. In fact, we were sorely tempted to take a short trip last weekend because of the 80 degree weather but there was that turkey meal in the way

Sorry for your loss of freedom. We just have to think about it different. Is there enough propane? Do I fill the water tank and disconnect the city waater for this cold snap? Did I close the holding tank valves? Guess it doesn't matter still things to tend too just a new list this year......

You know, we have never checked the gender of our Monty. Will have to do that today! Are they like rabbits and cats and difficult to know if boys or girls?
Our Monty has been on the pink stuff for about 3 months here. Can't wait till next year so we can wake it up and go on the road again.
Have several trips planned for next year.

You are so right, Steve. That is why I think they are all males. Plus they are big, strong and handsome.
Happy trails....................

Ours too has been winterized. Cleaned out the cupboards and brought in all that would freeze/explode. The sad thing is the weather has been in the high 60's to low 70's these last couple of days. Seems wrong to have had to winterize, but, come Thursday, we are to get snow. Spring is really right around the corner. Right?

So sad So glad, our Monty will never have to drink that pink stuff. But you know we seem to be so busy south of the Mason-Dixie line, that I don't know how I ever found time to work - back in those work days!

You're right Brad, but it feels soooo good! The best decision we ever made - next to the Monty.
