Question

What is the number by our name?
Do the Monty owners list the unit number like the Airstream owners?
What is the Sun with the ray's coming from it?
Inquiring minds need to know..

Ozz,

It's the Mark Of The Devil!

Kidding.

It's just a number they started to use not too long ago so that if we wished, we might add those numbers to our "MOC" bumperstickers, so others could look us up, without our having to write our entire nickname into a bumpersticker.

There may be more to it. But story that satisfies me.

Steve

P.S.

Oh, and, (someone correct me if I’m wrong,) there should be some way made to incorporate the numbers in with the “Members” listing, so we might search for a number we’ve seen and know who it was. I didn’t see the numbers on that list. And plugging my number in does nothing in a search, there.

S.

The numbers are assigned by the forum when you register. The members number list can be found here.
MOC Number List
The sun is just a happy face design. One of many faces available with the forum code.
I hope this helps.

All great answers and information.
I think my Monty number is (Bla-bla)-70058 I would think that it was the 58th unit built in '07.
The dealer had 00058 on a sticker pasted to the right foreword corner of our unit, and the same on a key tag.
So, maybe Sue and I would be MOC 5980-0758. ??
Bighorn, I like your numbers, I will look into that. Home inspection business, I admire business owners, being one of them, I know it's hard work and at times long hours, but great job satisfaction. We sold our HVAC business, and I am just working a few hours a week for some old great customers we had. Itching to get all my Mod's done and hit the road. What is the location of your photo's, Az? looks sunny there.
Take care, Ozz
