Auto Lever - NOT

When I hit the auto lever button the coach starts the process by stating “Grounding Jacks”. In a few moments, the display reads”Jacks Down” - NOT, then it reads “Completed” - NOT. After elevating the rear jacks some and repeating Auto Level a few times, leveling may complete somewhat. If I ground the jacks manually and the Auto Leveling I seem to get better results. Anyone out ther have some insight into this problem? Tom and Ann Chiuchiolo - 2017 3940RL.

What rig do you have and is this hydraulic jacks or the 3.0 electric jacks? With the hydraulic system, you must have the front of the trailer high before auto leveling. It will then drop the front and bring it back up before bringing the rear jacks down to level the rig.

I'd call lippert Customer Service. They're easy folks to work with and when you explain the problem to someone who can ask questions it should go well.

As stated by Rohrman above.....IF you have hydraulic jacks, you MUST have the nose higher than needed to start the process. If not higher on nose, it will NOT auto level with the hydraulic system.

Tom-- As DQDick stated give Lippert/LCI Customer Service a call and give them what you have stated here on the Forum and they will walk you through an analysis of the system and advise you on what to do or tell you how to correct the problem. Let us know what how things turn out.

I had that happen to me. I found that the front has to go low, beyond level, then the jacks work the trailer up to level. To put it another way, If I park on a slope where the ground is higher at the front of the trailer than the back, the front may not be able to dip low enough to auto level.

X2 Montanaman I found even my 11/2” blocks under the front will be enough to stop Auto Level
