How many miles before changing Truck tires

I have about 41,000 miles on my 5 1/2 year old Michelin tires. When I bought them they had a warranty of 70,000 miles and the newer tires only have 60,000 miles on them now. After how many miles before you replace your tires?

It is usually not the miles but the age of the tires that determine when to change. I would say 5 1/2 years would be close to a lifetime even with Michelins. Also depends on if they have been covered while in storage.

If the tread's still good, I believe the recommended interval is seven years.
