The Monty stays in storage

Looks like this winter the Monty will remain in storage. Have some up coming surgery to be done. 1st is a 100% rotator cuff tear which the Dr. said will have to be pinned to the top of the shoulder bone to hold it in place, now I haven't gotten far enough into it at this point to find out if that will mean a later surgery to have the pins removed or they will stay in place. When I get comfortable with that then it will be a left knee replacement. Had the right knee replaced years ago and it is getting bad again but the left needs it first. Hopefully it will be a mild winter and my wife won't have to much snow to shovel. Getting started sometime in Nov. as I want to do some hunting this year.
Will be the 1st time home for the winter in about 16 years.

Prayers for a speedy recovery going out to you. Les and I are also home for the winter --- I am awaiting total hip replacement surgery. Our Monty is over at Fort Camping in Fort Langley BC and Les will be using it a few days a week as he is working as a camp host for the winter. Julie

Had the Rotator Cuff repair. Full separation and Bicep detachment. Surgery easy, sleeping afterward the problem. Lots of pillows and get the "cold machine" used by many surgeons. They will rent it or insurance pays. Try sleeping in chair first week. It's a better than original fix. It's just a long slow recovery. Good luck.
