I guess you have a point with the plumbing behind the convience center, but I'd opt for teeing off the 2" duct going to the underbelly and adding a 2" hole in my plywood for that extra run. You are fortunate not to have a draft unless your storage doors are open as most of our belly pans and aluminum lower skirting are not anywhere close to being well sealed. My cargo bay doors don't seal well either as I've replaced the rubber seal twice with it still pinching it out the top length on the street side. A windy day with just a vent open most always gives notice to a draft from under the bedroom steps or from the grill under my fridge (3150RL). I tend to leave a storage door open while setting up, grilling, or what have you in the summer. Hot air just pours into the living area thru the grills mentioned above. As for the storage area ... I don't travel in cold weather with anything in there that would matter. Thanks for pointing out the back of the convience center water lines for others. For me, the wall is staying as I don't use my fiver over the winter, but if I did I'd just drill a 2" hole and tee off the belly duct.

any of you RK owners have a big whole cut under the cabinet where the hot water heater is, like a 2" circle that lets cold air in? What is the easiest way to seal it?

I also cover the grills on the step risers from the inside. I cut the silver insulation stuff to fit. I did this when I found out i was cooling the basement, it helped a lot. I used the Insulation in a can Great Stuff to fill the piping holes in the floor under the sinks.

I know this is an old thread, but I wonder if any could offer feed back as to long term results ? Especially concerning cold weather and the water lines. Also canned foam in the pipe holes? Thanx

Are you happy with the Great Stuff seal you made around the bathroom sink plumbing where it goes through the floor?
