brianclark,
We have a 2955RL which is almost a year old now. Had a few minor problems but nothing serious. The 2955 is a very popular model.
No experience with Holiday World of Houston. Good Luck!

First of all Welcome brianclark to the MOC Family.
We have an 04 model year and love it. Other than a problem with the shower door we have no complaints. We have been fulltiming in it since October of 03 and it has suited our needs quite well.
Can't help you with that Texas dealer but we have a 119 Texan MOCers on here and surely one of them will be able to answer your question.

We have an (05) 2955RL about 3 months old. Only problem found was electrical connection between fuse panel and converter. Converter is located under refrig behind the fuse panel. This problem could be considered somewhat dangerous. This is a source of heat given enough time and current draw on the converter (dead battery).
I have made several modifications including (4) 6volt golf-cart batteries mounted in the front compartment. Check under "thehays" for converter modifications.
Think you'll like the 2955RL...tows like a dream!! Assume you will pull with a non-gas truck as it is a big load.
Happy trails.

We've had our '05' 2955 for about 5 months, absolutly love it! We had a leak under the shower. We'll know if it's fixed next time we go out.
Everybody pretty much hates the wireless thermostat, most of them seem to be off by 9 degrees and there's apparently no way to fix it.

We have had our 2005 2955RL since July and have had no problems with it. It came with most everything but not the remote thermostat. We have a remote thermostat electric heater we take with us and we almost always bypass the remote as it is not accurate. We love the wood privacy doors in the bedroom area on the few occasions we brought someone along.
