Getting the storage organized
Finally took the time to organize and store all the hoses, cables and sundry items so I can find them and have a proper place to put them away.
Used coat hooks attached to the floor joists and plastic straps to hold the items.
I have 80% more floor space now.

Okay that is all kinds of wrong!!! I was just looking at mine yesterday and was coming up with a similar idea. CW has the straps $4. Going to Lowes today, sharkbite valves and more straps and hooks. Going to isolate washer water lines from rest of system for better winterizing until we get a washer.

Home Depot in the electrical section by the extension cords. 97 cents each.

That’s a good idea on the washer lines....

I think I should get all the parts and allow you to do the same in my 5er while I film. Seriously, best I've seen and need to get to work soon.

Now this is the type of photos that help others make decisions on storage solutions!!! I had posted prior asking if there was a special thread for such postings(pictures), was told to look under mods and additions, but found very few pics. ANY others want to add to this thread with pics, would be greatly appreciated by many I`m sure !!!

I got the black boxes with yellow lids from Lowes yesterday. Two stack very nicely on one side of my front pass thru. Going to get two more for the other side.
I plan to make one my setup box with everything I need to initially setup (power cord, water hose, chocks, leveling blocks etc...) all in ONE BOX!!! That way I don't have to run all over the camper pulling out things to get it setup.

Got the black boxes with yellow lids from Lowes around Christmas. No longer using them. Cannot see inside and the way the yellow lids open just was not as convenient as I like. Gave the boxes to my daughter and son in law.

To each his own. I’m going to give them a try as they fit near perfect in the front pass thru

Home Depot has better and cheaper straps. Their robe hooks are better than Lowes also.

I bought a copper crimper and a cinch crimper along with brass ball valves last week to put behind the action area in my washer lines too. That way, winterize once and turn the valve until I actually need it. Just can't decide to try the copper or the cinch type as I've not used either.

Storage
I use two 3 drawer plastic cabinets from Walmart, one on each end of the basement pass thru pushed up against the front wall. The drawers are about 15x20 x8 and I can slide each one open easier than I could find and unstack the totes that I originally used. Still use totes for water hose, filters, adapters and one for power cord, but all the other smaller items fit in the drawers. The tote that I wanted was always on the bottom in the middle. This leaves a lot more room for big items like chairs, bottom step, patio rugs, etc. The cost was about $20per cabinet.
