Two Issues Solved

My 50 amp electrical hook up is in the very back of the coach. Most campgrounds have their utility hook ups more in the center of the sites. I have had to pull my cord out to determine where I park my trailer. Then I always worry about my surge protector being out in the weather or getting stolen. So I came up with this solution, I added another 50 amp hookup on the side (there is plenty of access space between the floors) Then I added a cord to my transfer switch and two 50 amp receptacles so I cant power both lines. And it gave me a great dry and secure place to mount my surge protector. When I set up now I just have to move the plug I added to the location I plugged in the service. Sorry the pics are sideways!

The previous owners of our unit added a plug in, in the front panel for a generator hook up. They also added a EMS along with a manual transfer switch to select from the front of rear plug in. The front one was added rof a genny that does not go through the EMS unit. Its a great set up.

This also fixed another problem I was having with that seam coming apart on the exterior like I've read other people having in other post. The extra 50 amp receptacle's screws help hold the bottom skirt up!
